Canteen Company Highlights from 2013

Canteen had a great year in 2013, filled with new products, service milestones, and notable accomplishments by individual associates and Canteen branch locations. To wrap up the year, we wanted to share some recent end-of-year recognition awards for a few of Canteen’s standout associates and branches.

julie-berger– 2013 Associate of the Year: Julie Berger, Market Manager, Sacramento, CA

Julie Berger manages the Avenue C market business for the Sacramento district. Over the past year, she has improved sales tracking and various internal processes, helping to increase sales at Avenue C locations within her district. Her manager attests to Julie’s high energy, motivation and marketing skills.

– 2013 Canteen Refreshment Services Associate of the Year: Brian Speck, District General Manager, Harrisburg, PA

Brian Speck manages two operations located 80 miles apart and plays the role of Customer Service Manager and Service Manager, along with his responsibilities as DGM. In the ever-changing world of office coffee services, Brian’s versatility and dedication to his relationship with his customers is clear, and evident in a very high customer retention rate, and the ongoing growth of his branch.

– 2013 High Flyer of the Year: Heinrich von Mende, Customer Service Manager, St. Paul, MN

Heinrich von Mende, Customer Service Manager in St. Paul, MN, has been in the district for just over one year and has already made a difference in his district. In this short time, Heinrich has earned a high level of trust and stability with his clients, demonstrating attention to customer service, a team-focused approach, and overall, a ‘can do’ attitude.

mike-cohrac– Refreshment Services Branch of the Year: Philadelphia Office Coffee Services (OCS)

Canteen’s Philadelphia OCS branch, with the guidance of District General Manager, Mike Cohrac, is committed to excellence, and has seen substantial revenue growth over the past year, while still boasting near-perfect client retention levels. Mike supports his sales team to facilitate the growth of the branch as well as maintains an outstanding relationship with his sector partners. The branch’s success with its accounts is testament to the care all associates have for Canteen’s customers and their unique OCS needs.

– Vending Branch of the Year: Richmond Vending

Boasting phenomenal new business activity, Canteen’s Richmond branch has also seen revenue growth that not only met, but exceeded goals for 2013 within the Mid South division. The team at Richmond is distinguished for their positive attitude and lead-by-example approach.
