Rich Avella, Eric Hashimoto, and Robert Myers started Highwire Coffee Roasters in 2011 with the intention of building a company where people who are passionate about coffee and want a career in it will find a professional home.
At Highwire they bring their own approach to coffee and roasting. They’ve evaluated and experimented with roast styles to find their sweet spot; balance. Their coffee shows the special qualities that come from unique origins, the care and attention paid by the farmers and their cup’s characteristic aromatics, brightness, and fruit sweetness. They love big bold cups of coffee that still taste like the place they come from. This is the balance they seek.
