The first day of spring is just a few weeks away, which means warmer weather is on its way! Almost time to hang up the winter coat and make your favorite hot tea… iced! There are many iced tea recipes out there, but we wanted to share one recipe that you may not have tried before.
Earl Grey Iced Almond Milk
Steeped in hot almond milk and served over ice.
Serving Size: 1 cup; Yield: 1 serving
1 mug Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla
1 bag Earl Grey Tea Bag
1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 cup Ice Cubes
Place almond milk and sugar in a mug and heat in the microwave for 1 ½ to 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and add tea bags (be careful, the mug may be hot). Steep for 3-4 minutes. Remove bag and chill the tea. Serve over ice.
Next time you’re in the office, try making your own single serving of Earl Grey Iced Almond Milk! You can also try making regular sweet iced tea. All you have to do is steep your favorite tea variety offered in the breakroom in hot water, then add sugar or sweetener to taste, and pour over a glass ice. No matter which recipe you choose, we hope you have a tea-rrific spring!
