Easy and Fun Drop Biscuits Recipe

baking powder

COLD butter

cups
buttermilk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425ºF
Place flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl
Cut the cold butter into 1/2 inch cubes
Work the butter into the dry mixture with your hands
Add buttermilk and eggs to dry mixture
Mix until incorporated. Don't overmix.
Pinch off biscuits and place on a lined baking sheet
Bake until tops are golden brown (usually about 14 minutes)

Notes
Cold butter is key. Freeze the butter beforehand to ensure it stays cold until baking.
