Avocado Toast with Lump Crab and Radishes
Crab and avocados are a match made in heaven, but add some freshly-sliced radishes to the mix and it's downright divine! This simple yet flavorful dish will be sure to brighten up your day and impress any guests. Serve it up as an appetizer or enjoy as a light lunch – this tasty treat is perfect any time of day.
Ingredients
Avocado Spread:
- 1 avocado
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice fresh
- 1/8 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 slice whole grain bread
Crab Meat Topping
- 2 oz lump crab meat
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice fresh
Garnish
- 1 tsp serrano peppers seeded, ¼” sliced
- 1 tsp mint leaf
- 1 tsp radish 1/8" slices
- 1/2 tsp cilantro fresh, chopped
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine avocado, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Gently mash with the back of a fork.
- Place the bread in a toaster of pre-heated 350℉ oven. Cook the bread until it is nicely toasted (around 2-3 minutes.)
- In a small mixing bowl, gently combine the crab, lemon juice, and oil.
- Lay the toasted bread on your work surface. Evenly spread the seasoned avocado mixture on top of the toast.
- Top the avocado spread with the marinated crab. Evenly top the crab with the sliced peppers, fresh mint leaves, chopped cilantro, and then sliced radishes
