BBQ Brisket
Start up those grills! Who doesn’t love a block party or cookout with all our smokehouse favorites? We have a special recipe to share with you for any occasion you’re celebrating this summer. Enjoy a tender, juicy cut of brisket dressed in our signature dry rub and topped with smoky barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
Rub
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp ground paprika
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
Brisket
- 2 qt + 2 cups classic barbecue sauce
- 14 lb beef brisket raw
Instructions
Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 300°F
- Mix spices together in a large bowl
Prepare the brisket
- Trim beef of excess fat leaving 1/4" on top
- Rub the spice mixture all over and marinate for at least 30 minutes
Roast the brisket
- Place fat side up in roasting pan and slow roast in a 300°F oven until tender, about 4-5 hours
- Serve hot and enjoy!
