Ingredients
  

Rub

  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp ground paprika
  • 2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

Brisket

  • 2 qt + 2 cups classic barbecue sauce
  • 14 lb beef brisket raw

Instructions
 

Prepare

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F
  • Mix spices together in a large bowl

Prepare the brisket

  • Trim beef of excess fat leaving 1/4" on top
  • Rub the spice mixture all over and marinate for at least 30 minutes

Roast the brisket

  • Place fat side up in roasting pan and slow roast in a 300°F oven until tender, about 4-5 hours
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
