Canteen in the Community
As a company and a family, Canteen prides itself on being active members of the community. We strive to empower the communities where we live and work through our Canteen Cares initiative, whether it’s producing meal kits for remote school feeding, supplying food and water for disaster relief, or providing clean drinking water to communities around the world, and so much more.
Additionally, we focus on celebrating and supporting military veterans, as well as fighting for hunger relief with food recovery partnerships and innovations. We also encourage every local Canteen team to take part in their own initiatives, spreading our passion for involvement to communities, families, and individuals across the country.
Below are just some of the groups our teams support with local partnerships that strive to make a difference. Learn more below about these remarkable organizations.
Supported by Canteen's Northeast Division, Covenant House provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness, helping young people transform their lives and putting them on a path to independence.
Canteen's Pacific Division supports U.S.VETS in its mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States. U.S. VETS believes all veterans deserve every opportunity to live with dignity and independence and promises to always serve those who’ve served.

Canteen's Midwest Division supports Mooseheart, a residential childcare facility, located on a 1,000-acre campus 38 miles west of Chicago.
Canteen's Southeast Division supports AMIkids helping at-risk youth find a brighter tomorrow. Its mission is to protect public safety and positively impact as many youths as possible through the efforts of a diverse and innovative staff. AMIkids works in partnership with youth agencies, local communities, and families.
Camp SOAR (Special Olympics Athlete Retreat) is an exciting week that encourages current Special Olympics athletes to try new sports and recruit new athletes to participate in Special Olympics. Canteen's Midsouth Division partners with and supports this awesome event each year.
