Long Shift? Just Remember PAWS

We’ve all encountered them… long workdays. Sometimes they’re easy to power through, but other days, it can be a little difficult to stay focused. Next time, fight off feeling groggy and remember PAWS!

Action- If you have a desk job, take a quick stroll around the office or outside if the weather is nice to stretch your legs, relax your mind and get the creative juices flowing again. Even if you don’t have a desk job, staying active at work is a great way to stay focused through a long shift and make time fly by.

Water- Drinking water is essential to overall body health. Staying hydrated is key in keeping your mind focused and alert. Utilize your closest vending machine to stay hydrated. Snacks- Snacking a few times throughout a long shift not only keeps your metabolism going, it also prevents you from feeling drained.
