An Employee in Spotlight

Our people are truly our greatest asset, and nothing makes us prouder than hearing from our clients that one of our own is making a difference. Meet Audrey Scaglione, General Manager at Tampa International Airport (TPA)’s Landside Grill. Her positive attitude and unwavering work ethic has granted her time in the spotlight…literally! Audrey was recently recognized by TPA in their Employee Spotlight. Way to go, Audrey!

“The feature brought me closer to the people we serve in the café every day. It opened up many conversations with the airport staff, helping me to get to know our ‘clients’ even better,” Audrey stated.

Where did her journey start? Born and raised in Detroit, Audrey felt the need for a fresh start and moved to Hawaii where she bartended for 10 years before transitioning into management. From hotels and resorts to casinos, she has worked in catering all over the country!

Today, Audrey proudly manages Landside Grill, feeding crowds of hungry construction workers, authority employees, airline workers, and tenants that keep TPA up and running every day.

“Audrey has been an excellent addition to team Canteen. She brings an enthusiasm that brightens the day of her fellow associates as well as our customers at the Tampa Airport. We are honored the TPA Authority felt the same way,” said Steve Luccia, Southeast Division President.
